Lots of good things here Denyse and I'm so pleased you feel you are finding a new normal. The glimmers are always worth looking for and being grateful for what we have is so important. Thanks for linking up with us!
Hi Denyse - I think your words are a really good balance between growing and glowing. Addressing what needs to be dealt with, while also recognizing the really good parts of life is a great way to move forward as you heal emotionally. You're definitely on the mend. x
I love that Leanne. Thank you. I do feel like I am 'glowing' too. Nice!! And now I am in a much better head space with a lot of pressure (self administered I might add....) I am really enjoying each day.
And getting better..so much but definitely NOT "back to what/how I was"
Hi Denyse, it is so lovely that you have linked up with us at What's Been On Your Calendar? I love shadows too and the other day took a photo of Elliot and I walking home from school but it was our shadows not our faces. I'm glad that you are feeling grief a little less now. Time does heal although we never forget. I think as we get older too we feel more connected with our parents. Glad you were out and about for a solo coffee you are coming back, that's for sure. Enjoy your weekend. Sue L xx
I went down to see the Harbour this morning from Blues Point, and always think of you living in the area and going to school at NSGH. I go past what was called North Sydney Dem School on my way down the highway and memories of teachers college days spent there doing pracs and observations...and the Mater Hospital ...much changed..where I had our son. A LOT of memories for sure. I even think of Sam Colden when I go through the turn off to her street...
We have our 50th school reunion this year although I don’t think I’ll be able to get down for it in November. They are organising a weekend, I think including a tour of our old school.
Hi, Denyse - Thank you for joining us for 'What's Been on Your Calendar' and for sharing your journey with us with such openness and heart. I greatly admire your candidness and reflection. Wishing you a peaceful July ahead.
Thanks so much Donna, my friends in the blogging community help me in many ways and connecting with comments and me adding posts to link ups helps me recover as I now am
I am going well indeed. But have learned my lessons about not taking 'too much' on again.

I love the play of shadows and always try to capture them, but can never quite get the "feeling" of them on (digital) film.
Interesting! Gosh it's been ages since I've done any photography NOT via digital means. Thanks Jo. X
As always, I enjoyed reading about your 4 Gs, Denyse. That photo with the trees casting shadows on the path is beautiful. Thanks for sharing it.
Thank you! Your words are very kind. Denyse x

Thanks so much Sue.
Your comments are spot on.
Shadows seem to tell more of a story too.
