I think I have what you have. I cancelled everything this week because of the razors in my throat. I kept thinking it would turn into covid but it didn't. Nor did it turn into the cold I initially thought I had. Hope you get better soon!

And go you on getting your feet in. I will organise a catch up in Jan. I'm a bit all over the place atm. #WBOYC

Thank you. I saw the GP again today and I still have quite a sore throat but not worse. Glad we did the family birthday last weekend.

Take care

Happy birthday, Denyse! I hope you are starting to feel better. These viruses can certainly take hold so take care of yourself. You have written about some of my old stomping ground areas, Denyse and the harbour is one of my favourite places. Good for you dipping your toes in the water. I'm loving your adventurous spirit driving around Sydney. Thanks so much for sharing your adventure with us at #WBOYC? and have a lovely December. xx sue L xx

Comment to Deb's World is here ...my substack wouldn't allow it to publish..will try to work it out. Thank you Deb. I've had a lovely family afternoon tea and seeing the family "is" the best gift of all as you well know. I am feeling much better today and will, despite tomorrow 'being my birthday' take it easy. We are no longer up for meals or even morning teas out together and that is fine. I've had some kind words via cards from the family and will no doubt hear from some too. It's the first birthday without Dad wishing me a HB but I am grateful he got to do that for 74 years. I so want to get back to that water....and I will! Denyse x

Happy Birthday for Saturday Denyse, 75 is quite a good number to celebrate! Sorry to hear you're not feeling well and hopefully you regain some energy quickly. The harbour really is a delight, especially on a sunny day. Love the paddling in the water shot!

Thanks for linking up with us for #WBOYC and all the best for December!

Feel better soon. Oh man you got some stellar photos of Sydney and the iconic bridge. So cool you found a spot to dunk your feet. Take care of yourself. Bernie

Today as I write I feel about 80% better Bernie...which meant I got out of the house and had a coffee at the shops and generally felt better all round. The recent heatwave has diminished and that helps too.

I LOVE that Bridge so much too...and am grateful I get to photograph around Sydney Harbour more often these days!!

Take care, and thanks for your well wishes.

You've done well to get out and about and to rediscover places you love Denyse. I think being outside and appreciating the beauty of our world does something good for our souls.

Thanks Leanne, it's like a balm to my soul to do this. It takes a bit of cognitive effort at times as it can be easy to say, 'too hard/too much' but I challenge that now.

I am LOVING the freedom (two cars helps!) to rediscover places in Sydney I have not seen for a long time,

Your kindness and care is always appreciated.

Take care,

Denyse x
