Your autumn shots are great Denyse! Pink does suit you by the way. I'm pleased to hear you're starting to feel a bit better but know it's an ongoing struggle. We've had a little rain here but need more, at least the tanks are 3/4 full again! Take care and it's great to see you here at #wwwhimsy

Three quarters full tanks is good! Thanks Deb for your kind words of understanding. Each day is some kind of progress to better health and I am taking all the steps I need to achieve this gently. Take care, Denyse x

Your substack I can find easily, and Jennifer's takes a little more effort but there's a third one (Christine Hawks maybe? That I can't always get....). Anywhoo, pink suits you. The Sydney dam is overflowing I believe. So good in one way but not good in another. I think Winter has crept in early, even with the sun!

Oh good to know. Christie's is not a substack. She seems unable to add the link from her blog. I've mentioned it before to her. Anyway it's also hard at times to remember a blog or substack without knowing the exact title

Yes to winter & I'm glad we do have enough water. Thanks for the compliment on the pink! Denyse x

Beautiful pics Denyse and pink really suits you. It seems strange thinking that it's winter there when we're anticipating summer. Take care and wishing you continuing good health 😘 Karen

Thanks Karen, that is true. I see many people who tend to 'forget' that we live in a different part of the world (not you!!) and tend to revert to 'teacher me' as a reminder! Ha.

Lovely to see you here and I am thinking I need more PINK in my life.

Take care,

Denyse x

Love you in pink - I think it really suits you! Our seasons are back to front but start on the same dates, I'm looking forward to summer (as long as it's not too hot, not too cold but just right!) I heard about all the rain. Pleased you stayed nice and dry and are feeling better - ready for some adventures! x

I know I need to find more pink now when usually red and blue are my go to. Nothing like a change. It must be US that deems for seasons to start mid month...whatever it is, you and I are at opposites and though you have lived here 'north' is home.

I am slowly but surely doing what I can to enjoy aspects of life I have missed.

Thanks Sammie.

Hi Denyse, I can't believe we are heading into June and like you wonder where the year has gone. I love the autumnal colours and the bulbs are coming along nicely. Are they daffodils? I love them. Pink is a colour I wear often and I always feel it lifts my spirits. You look lovely in pink too! Have a lovely week. Sue L #WWWhimsy xx

It is true for sure that time is moving fast but I have also needed that time to slowly and carefully make a recovery from what was 'not great for me'...to now. It's something I appreciate having..."time". As for the pink, I too like it. But it's never been something I've worn a lot. This may change!

The bulbs are a range of plants. We bought a large showbag from an on-line company and B probably knows better than I what each one is but we need to wait some time yet. The girls like seeing the progress. Thanks Sue for your kind words and care.

Hi Denyse, it must be so lovely to see blue skies and sunshine when there's been so much rain there in NSW. I've read that we've got bad weather heading our way and I don't wanna know about it. I just want a nice week away up the coast *fingers crossed*. I love your 'autumnal tree'! Lovely photo of you in pink with your lovely smile. Thanks for sharing with us & linking up with #WWWhimsy xo

It's been great to see the BLUE again and whilst we did not have floods we sure had a pile of rain which resulted in kids' sport cancellations and more.

I am hoping you get the break needed...it's been a long time coming Min.

Fingers and toes crossed for you!!

I am pleased I tried pink. I don't know why I haven't before. I have tended to go for the stronger hues but I too liked seeing me 'in the pink'

Thanks Jen.

Take care,

Hi Denyse - look at you being all "in the pink" - it reminded me of my new pink shoes :) I loved all the autumn shades in your tree too. Autumn here has been delightful with lots of clear skies, cold mornings, and gorgeous afternoons. I'm not looking forward to all the wet of winter, but we need it - so I'll enjoy these lazy hazy days while we have them. x

Thanks Leanne. The pink was a surprise for me too. Loved it...like your shoes. I am, fingers crossed, driving over to see the sea at my beloved Manly tomorrow. It's been over 8 months and whilst the weather has been all kinds here, I just need to be there again!!

Cold mornings and evenings here in Sydney's north west. More temperate nearer the coast. Enjoy all you can while you can I say!! Take care, Denyse x
