I came across this list of 100 reasons I am grateful from four years ago.
Written when we lived on the Central Coast and I was ‘still’ a head and neck cancer patient.
And in each of them I can see and feel my emergence as a grateful person and this is something I am so glad I have continued to this day.
It IS a personal list but happy to share.
Can you consider what you are grateful for today?
I am sharing this on Valentine’s Day, but because LOVE is such an integral part of MY life as I hope it is yours.
Kind regards,
Denyse.
I am a sentimental Grandma though for anyone who does LOVE Valentine’s Day…here is something from my then 5 yo Granddaughter whose name is a gemstone!
Warmest Wednesday wishes sent to friend Min who hosts here Wednesday’s Words and Whimsy today.
Today I am a guest host on Min’s blog. Thanks for having me visit.

I love this post, Denyse! You have a wonderful varied list that reveals hard things you've been through in your life as well as other more practical things that are also important because they bring you joy. My word of the year is very much related to gratitude. Also, I turned 50 recently and it somehow changed me, I've been reflecting a lot on my life, people I've met, experiences etc and it made me see all the good things instead of (only) the bad. That is truly something to be grateful for! I'll write a post on my blog about it soon.
This list is epic and an achievement in itself! I can relate to many things in this list and you've inspired me to have a go at making one myself. I'm grateful for you - love your positivity and that you share it with us :)
