Thank you so much for your kind words Donna.

It helps me & I can see now, others too, to admit to the various challenges along this life journey we are on!

And it’s feeling better today too..and will pass on Bday wishes to B!

Warm wishes (I see you are in the snow right now!)

From reading your writing over recent times, it's obvious to me that you are enjoying going back home and being closer to family. The past two years have been a busy time for you and I love reading that your life is now more relaxed.

Thank you so much Jennifer. Been a BIG and BUSY two years for sure but we are both enjoying the slowing of the pace to better self-care too.

Take care

Hi Denyse - I like that you're stepping back a little and choosing to focus on all that you've achieved over the last several years. Returning "home" has certainly been a blessing for you - and such a good decision for the years ahead. Happy birthday to B and may you have many more together in your happy home. x

Thank you Leanne for your kind & caring words. It's true about the stepping back a bit & I'm definitely benefiting.

We are both feeling this is our home for a long time given the owners are committing to adding screen doors we asked for last year!

It's been quite the ride this recent 2 years and I am glad to have slowed down!

Take care & I will share Bday wishes with B!

Glad to hear from you Denyse have been thinking about you and how your recovery time was going. Life can give us helps to deal with cant it. When I think of everything life has thrown in our directions in retrospect I see all the little and big mountains I've climbed. I was the first generation to get a professional qualification in our family, first to become a teacher and to maintain a working life. There were no role familial role models and I had many testing times in personal and professional life. Through the challenges I pushed on. It was just what you did. As I look at myself and friends I can see the toll it took on our bodies. I'm working on finding a balance now, but its taken a good few years. I have benefited from sharing your tools and approach to this issue of aging. Keep us posted on how you are going. Cheers Liz

Oh Liz, thank you! So pleased we have connected. And yes to the mountains! I was struggling with some negative thought yesterday & pulled myself up with "hey, you were a school principal!!"

Funny isn't it as we (I) age I tend to forget how much I did do professionally!
