It is so hard having to get medical checks done at any age, but especially if you have had to endure extensive medical interventions. Well done you for addressing everything and keeping on top of your health. You look amazing

Hi Denyse, you've been through so much over the last few years, especially and then throw in the aging process and no wonder you feel the way you do. Thank you for sharing your personal experiences as it will help others I'm sure. Would you believe I had a Care Plan meeting with my GP this year and thought 'am I really old enough to have one' LOL :) As always thank you for your honesty and for supporting #WBOYC? . My apologies for the delay in responding. Have a great week! xx

Oh Sue, none of us is too "old or young" for a care plan regarding our health. I've found them helpful over the years. My current one is for my podiatrist! I appreciate your kind words & support always.

You are A special friend in my on-line world.

Aging is full of challenges, isn't it, Denyse? Especially considering your past health concerns, I can understand why all of this would feel a bit overwhelming. As usual, you are a champ about working through it all and being willing to share that process with us. By the way, your haircut is fabulous!

Thank you Joanne, it's taken me quite a while to build that within and you have been around this space (and the blog) for a while now, and I feel that support.

That photo..so many jacarandas out down here now I get carried away!!

Hi Denyse - I don't think you give yourself enough credit for how wonderful you're looking and for the life you've settled into. Those last couple of photos show a lovely woman who looks content and happy. I think it's important to keep focusing on all those blessings and your resilience and current good health - and enjoy every moment of this time of life where you're so healthy and happy. xx

Thank you Leanne. I "know" you are right but I can get caught up on those 'old stories' in our head kind of thing.

Sometimes, I just need to acknowledge what comes, and allow it to go, as it will. However, it does also help to understand those tough times and how they now contribute to my better days and (hopefully!) year ahead.

Take care,

Well, you LOOK fabulous! I love these latest photos of you. Glad the tooth pain turned out to be nothing; I can definitely understand how that would be triggering for you.

Thank you Joanne for your kind words of support and encouragement. I think I learned a lot during that 'week' of triggers and know how I can deal with them which is even better news.

Take care,
