Loving reading your post, as always. Your ‘almost summer’ is our ‘almost winter’ and yet ours are becoming more mild and damp & I miss the crisp leaves on the hard ground & a proper frost. Our garden is being put to bed for a while, nice reading the emergence of yours! Enjoy xxx

Thanks so much Pippa. I know it's your season for everything to wind down as ours winds up and think it's good to share.

Sadly...not "everyone" who lives in the northern hemisphere gets that we move towards Christmas and the New Year and SUMMER.

A good reason for me to share more don't you think....And I so appreciate your kind words.

Take care

Your words about nature healing ring so true , Loved the roses. In the aftermath of the US election I found your words and joy in your walk a welcome reminder of the power of nature. Absolutely great job to the gardeners who have cherished these lovelies. I always look forward to reading and sharing your work Denyse. It always provides me with much food for thought. Liz x

Oh how kind and thoughtful of you Liz. Today's gloominess needed some spark for me, and the rose garden walk reminded me of what's so important..life, nature and moving forward.

I am very grateful for your comment and I am glad this post resonated.

Take care,

The roses this year have been amazing - I see them everywhere and the bushes are bursting with full blown flowers. It's a joy to the eyes and to the heart - and nature is definitely a great way to connect to our souls.

I think it must be a bumper season for roses here too Leanne. B has been nurturing a couple of newbies here and they are already blooming! I am glad I decided to detour here today as it was cool enough to appreciate the place.

Thanks for sharing, and take care,

Denyse

Wow it looks like a stunning garden. I walk in nature but it's "untended" so quite a different look. But it and the skies above are my restoratives.

I hear you on that ..nature wherever it is and the skies. So restorative. This garden is very formal in its own way but has been made quite deliberately accessible with its paths and resting spots too. But it gets very hot! Today's visit was idea. Thanks Bernie for your comment.

Take care,

Denyse.
